For almost two decades, the Carden school of Camarillo has
welcomed
the community for join us for a wonderful Summer Day Camp experience.
Each summer the school campus transforms into a haven for fun and
adventurous learning for children 5-13. We offer a traditional
camp experience with elements of learning. Our enrollment is
limited to 70 children, ensuring that all children have a safe, inviting
and fun summer group. The Directors redesign the program each
year, building upon various prior year's experiences, and the
program activities are varied and
appropriately geared for the following age groups:
- Elementary age (Kindergarten through
5th Grade) - Elementary Program
- Middle School age (6th Grade through
8th Grade) - Junior Counselor Program
Our camp staff consists of our
teaching staff and trained counselors who have undergone
considerable hours of pre-camp training, including standard Red
Cross First Aid and CPR training. We have a Counselor for
every 8-10 campers and our Junior Counselors further enhance the
program by aiding our Counselors and by befriending the younger
campers.
We are very excited about this year's
camp schedule and
optional activities.
Come and join us for another great summer of fun and exploration!
